Executive Team


Before joining Cadence, Mr. Banks worked at the Raytheon Company, where he was a member of the Executive Management Team, reporting directly to the CEO. He has over 20 years of management experience working with the financial analysis of equipment deployment including; leasing, rental, and purchase alternatives.

Mr. Banks graduated from Pepperdine University, with a BS in Business Management. He also earned multiple credentials from UCLA in Computer Operations & Applications. He is the Program Organizer and an instructor at the “BYTE” program (Bring Youth to Technology Education).  This program works with inner city teens to increase interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with an emphasis on mentorship and team building skills.  Mr. Banks is a Service Disabled Veteran who served in the United States Navy with two assignments in Vietnam. 

Mr. Nunez has over 25 years of experience in capital equipment finance and leasing. He has held operations and management positions for various banks and finance companies including Chase Manhattan Commercial Corporation, Ford Motor Credit, McDonnell Douglas Finance (predecessor to Boeing Capital Corporation), Capital Associates and Lockheed Martin Finance. He has extensive experience in all managerial aspects of finance & leasing company operations including credit, documentation, collections, syndications and vendor program administration.

Mr. Nunez holds degrees in law and economics. He spends part of his spare time coaching youth sports and officiating high school football.

During his professional career, Mr. Humiston has held positions with Raytheon and Accenture. For the 12 years prior to founding Cadence, Bruce owned and operated a cloud-based voice mail services company providing voice mail and telecommunication services to commercial accounts.

Mr. Humiston is a graduate of Lehigh University, with a BS in Industrial Engineering. He also holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California as well as an MBA from USC. He is a founder and Director of the local Challenger Football & Cheer Program for special needs children.

Prior to joining Cadence Resource Group, Mr. Alderete was the leader of Southern California Edison's Supplier Diversity Program - a position he held for over 18 years. In this position, he oversaw the Company’s Women, Minority, and Disabled Veteran Business Programs. 

In total, Mr. Alderete worked for Edison for over 40 years. Prior to his work in Supplier Diversity, he worked in Procurement and Material Management as a Senior Procurement Agent, and was involved in the company’s “Strategic Sourcing” effort. He also worked in Human Resources and in Transmission & Distribution. 

Mr. Alderete is the past Chairman of the Edison Electric Institute Minority Business Development Committee. He was also board chair of both the Southern California Minority Supplier Development Council and the National Council of Minorities in Energy. He has been a member of numerous diversity associations including; the Asian Business Association, the Black Business Association, the Latin Business Association, the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the California Black Chamber of Commerce, the California American Indian Chamber of Commerce, the California Latino Caucus Institute, and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
